About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team at Publicis Groupe. As a Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing standardized processes and protocols to enable efficient data management.

You will work closely with our Analytics, Engineering, and Technology Activation teams to ensure that data is managed effectively across the ecosystem. Your goal will be to maintain quality, consistency, and availability of data needed to produce client's marketing performance reports more efficiently.

You will also be responsible for understanding key decision points and ensuring that the correct business logic is applied, documented, and executed. Once data is mined, it will help to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing goals.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional who has a passion for emerging tech and media, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and a problem-solving mind. You should have prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media, and be able to represent your team to clients.

You will work closely with your team of analysts to help them stay on track with day-to-day deliverables and contribute crucial intellectual capital to your team by designing and implementing standardized processes and protocols. You will also work closely with your Associate Directors to help execute on the practice and department's vision with your team.

As a Data Governance Manager, you will be a mentor, manager, project manager, and thought leader, all at the same time. You will be responsible for mentoring junior-level staff members and contributing to the development of your team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has a strong background in data management, data governance, and data analytics. You should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of prior professional experience. You should also have experience with querying relational databases, digital media and analytics tools, and advanced Excel skills.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work experience in media or related field
  • 1+ years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both external and internal clients
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills
  • Experience with querying relational databases
  • Experience with digital media and analytics tools
  • Extensive experience with digital media marketing metrics
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
  • Ability to structure and manipulate large data sets to answer business questions
  • Understanding of a broad range of online advertising media channels
  • World-class customer service skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with third-party research partners
  • Experience with ad verification tools
  • Experience with using or analyzing data from DMPs and DSPs
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and other data manipulation languages
