About the Role

Paylocity is a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions, empowering businesses to automate and streamline HR and payroll processes, attract and retain talent, and build a strong workplace culture.

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Sales & Marketing team as the Director of Current Client Consulting. In this critical role, you'll provide leadership and oversight to our Current Client Consulting (CCC) department, driving sales revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and execute a business plan for the CCC department, aligning priorities across the organization to achieve annual sales goals.
  • Manage a team of 6-8 CCC managers, maximizing sales revenue and staying within budget.
  • Counsel with each CCC manager on monthly sales objectives and weekly activity goals, as well as any action plans needed.
  • Conduct bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with each CCC manager, using an agenda to ensure progress and growth.
  • Regularly review department performance to ensure sales and quota responsibilities are on target at the manager and CCC representative level.
  • Recruit, hire, and train CCC manager team members to required headcount levels.
  • Constructively handle customer complaints and have an established chain of command for all escalations.
  • Create a climate that attracts, retains, and motivates the CCC department to reach high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales management.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience with SaaS solutions.
  • Proven track record in managing and directing a highly-skilled, motivated, successful, and results-oriented salesforce.
  • Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a virtual environment.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.
