Position & Company Overview

Northern Impact, a cherished family-operated bridal boutique, is seeking a dedicated Bridal Stylist. They proudly showcase a nationally acclaimed bridal brand and have been pioneers in the specialty curvy bridal market. Located in a vibrant area, they are looking for a passionate individual to enhance their team. In this role, you will lead and drive store sales while assisting the management team with daily operations. Your efforts will be vital in achieving optimal sales and profit objectives through effective sales leadership and consistent operational excellence.

This role reports directly to the Company Directors and Management team, including the General Manager and Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reflect a positive company image.
  • Achieve and surpass individual sales targets by employing personal and team selling strategies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by:
    • Welcoming customers in line with company standards.
    • Registering clients.
    • Engaging with clients to identify their needs and assist them in finding their ideal dress for weddings, proms, or other special events.
    • Continuously educating oneself about products and staying updated on trends.
    • Exhibiting product knowledge to explain the features and benefits of merchandise.
    • Presenting dresses that align with the customer's desired style and budget.
    • Encouraging additional purchases by showcasing complementary merchandise.
    • Addressing objections and effectively closing sales.
    • Accompanying customers in and out of fitting rooms, showcasing additional items, and being attentive to their needs.
    • Consistently demonstrating a courteous and professional attitude in all customer interactions.
    • Following up with customers and keeping them informed about their orders.
    • Sending appreciation notes to customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering positive relationships and clear communication.
  • Safeguard store inventory and company assets by providing excellent customer service, adhering to loss prevention protocols, and promptly reporting any suspected policy violations.
  • Handle all store inventory and sample pieces with care and attention.
  • Organize merchandise displays in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain the store's cleanliness by tidying merchandise and completing daily cleaning tasks.
  • Support store operations by accurately processing transactions and maintaining records; comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Restock the store by unpacking and preparing new merchandise for display in a timely manner.
  • Enhance product knowledge through reading and listening to relevant information.
  • May be assigned specific duties by store management, including customer gown preparation, store organization, and cleanliness.
  • Perform light office tasks such as filing and labeling merchandise, as well as daily cleaning duties.
  • Each Sales Consultant is responsible for maintaining fitting rooms and sales areas, working collaboratively to keep the sales floor organized.
  • The Bridal Stylist will perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the Company and Store Management.
Working Requirements
  • Physical Agility: The role requires being on your feet and moving throughout the store during your entire shift.
  • Merchandise Preparation: The position involves light to moderate physical activity, including unpacking and preparing merchandise, which may require handling heavy boxes and using small ladders.
  • Weekend Flexibility: Availability to work on weekends as required and according to the schedule is essential.
