Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain necessary information for material selection, dimensional data, and third-party or owner-supplied information.
  • Track jobsite documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, changes, and other relevant documents.
  • Coordinate efforts with other trades and accompanying documentation.
  • Prepare submittals, schedules, and O&M documents.
  • Estimate, count, and prepare change orders.
  • Track QA procedures, logs, and issues.
  • Attend project meetings as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities for Project Engineer Level 2:
  • Perform ordering, releasing, receiving, and tracking of material and tool orders.
  • Post drawings with changed information.
  • Estimate, prepare, and track change orders.
  • Develop, implement, and track QA procedures, logs, and issues.
Additional Responsibilities for Project Engineer Level 3:
  • Change Management - Estimate, prepare, and track change orders. Develop workable implementation plans on changes. Communicate changes effectively to both field and customers.
  • Review new or changed information to correctly capture added costs.
  • Schedule, subcontract, and track project performance.
  • Track subcontractor and vendor performance.

  • To perform the Level 1 Project Engineer job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Spreadsheet software and Project Management software.
  • To perform the Level 2 Project Engineer job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Spreadsheets, Estimating; while working towards knowledge of Financial, Management, and Labor Tracking software.
  • To perform the Level 3 Project Engineer job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of all required software; Microsoft Office Suite; Spreadsheets, Estimating, Financial, Management, and Labor Tracking software.
