Job Summary

The Regional Property Manager is a key member of the Community Holdings Management LLC team, responsible for overseeing the operations of our regional portfolio of affordable housing properties. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide site managers to achieve high levels of performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement systems to drive performance and reduce vacancies across the portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community-based agencies and stakeholders to create resources and support for residents.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on site activities, compliance, and budget performance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations, Director of Compliance, and Director of Asset Management to ensure policy changes and ownership concerns are addressed.
  • Oversee annual budget development and ongoing review of income and expenses.
  • Maintain open communication with the Asset Manager and Site Manager to ensure budget adjustments are made as needed.
  • Represent Community Holdings at resident and community meetings, as well as ownership and partnership meetings.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes team collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance across the portfolio.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in affordable housing site operations, with a strong background in supervision and leadership. A Resident Manager or Resident Housing Manager designation is preferred. The candidate must also have experience working with Housing Finance Agencies and understanding of MSA and regulatory agreements. Certification in Tax Credits, Certified Occupancy Specialist, Fair Housing, and Blended Occupancy Specialist is also required.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities. They will also be attentive to detail, have good writing skills, and be able to effectively communicate and resolve conflicts.
