Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our team at WinnCompanies. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy, and initiate legal action when required.
  • Leasing and Marketing: Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing, including touring with prospective residents, processing applications, and negotiating lease renewals.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to resident issues and complaints in a timely manner, and promote positive resident relations.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in all facets of physical and financial management as needed and assigned.
  • Leadership: Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager, as well as resident correspondence and recertification notices.
  • Accounts Payable: Monitor the flow of accounts payable, from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Superb attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree.
  • Experience: Experience in property management.
