Role Overview

As part of the Prisma Access Edge Platform team, you will develop and deliver advanced technologies that provide secure cloud access. This role combines essential connectivity and security, extending next-generation protection to all cloud services, on-premise networks, and mobile users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable software features using both custom and open-source solutions.
  • Engage in the architecture, design, and development of features for the edge platform.
  • Research and implement various frameworks suitable for our solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure optimal quality.
  • Work with DevOps and Technical Support teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Establish processes for DevOps and create tools to automate workflows.
  • Coordinate with team members across different time zones to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar capacity, with a strong commitment to high reliability and service levels.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python or Go.
  • Extensive experience with Linux.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly GCP.
  • Experience with Terraform and HashiCorp tools.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualized and containerized environments, including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Configuration Management, with GitLab being preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing high-scale production environments is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • A quick learner who can prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
