Role Overview

As part of the Prisma Access Edge Platform team, you will be instrumental in delivering next-generation technologies that provide secure cloud access. Your role will involve utilizing advanced public and private cloud technologies to extend security to all cloud services, on-premise networks, and mobile users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable software features using both proprietary and open-source solutions.
  • Engage in the architecture, design, and development of features for the edge platform.
  • Research and apply various frameworks suitable for our solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Work alongside DevOps and Technical Support teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Establish processes for DevOps and create tools to automate workflows.
  • Coordinate with team members across different time zones to provide continuous coverage.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or equivalent, with a strong commitment to technology and high service reliability.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python or Go.
  • Extensive experience with Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP.
  • Expertise in Terraform and HashiCorp tools.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualized and containerized environments, such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Configuration Management, preferably using GitLab.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing high-scale production environments is advantageous.
