About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Jabbergym, a member of the Point Quest Group. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping children achieve their full potential by addressing their communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication levels and abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders, in collaboration with classroom teachers and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions to deliver interventions and support students' communication development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation, including evaluation data, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and goal achievement.
Requirements
  • Current, active license as a Speech Pathologist (SLP, SLPL, SLP-CCC) or eligibility for licensure.
  • At least one year of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school or treatment setting.
  • Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures, as well as computer literacy and proficiency in standard company software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes, as well as frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more pounds. The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
