About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Jabbergym, A member of the Point Quest Group. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality services to our clients, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' levels of functioning and ability to communicate, including standardized assessments as part of a triennial review to determine continued eligibility.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with classroom teachers and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure educational benefit.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including one-to-one and group sessions, to address communication disorders and promote effective communication skills.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication needs.
  • Participate in in-service education, utilization review, and team conferences to stay current with best practices and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Prepare and submit all case documentation, including evaluation data, treatments, clinical and progress notes, and required billing information according to company policy.
  • Provide services within the Agency's catchment area and adapt educational materials and equipment to meet individual students' needs.
  • Collect data on student achievements and prepare reports to document activities and update IEP logs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current, active license as a Speech Pathologist (SLP, SLPL, SLP-CCC) or be eligible for licensure.
  • At least one year of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school or treatment setting for students with learning or social/emotional problems.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance.
  • Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures.
  • Computer-literate; knowledge of standard company software applications, internet.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient written and verbal English language communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manner.
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs. The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
