About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Jabbergym, a member of the Point Quest Group. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping children achieve their full potential by addressing their communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication levels and abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers and other therapists, to ensure educational benefit
  • Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions to deliver interventions and support students' progress
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation, including evaluation data, treatments, and progress notes
Requirements
  • Current, active license as a Speech Pathologist (SLP, SLPL, SLP-CCC) or eligibility for licensure
  • At least one year of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school or treatment setting
  • Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures
  • Computer-literate with proficiency in standard company software applications and internet
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes. The position involves frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more pounds. The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
