Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a friendly and service-oriented approach in all interactions with guests and team members.
  • Ensure consistent attendance in accordance with company standards, adapting to the hotel's scheduling needs.
  • Maintain exemplary personal appearance and grooming standards, including proper uniform and identification.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that all employees exhibit attentiveness and courtesy towards guests and colleagues.
  • Gather necessary information for room reservations and manage VIP and special guest requests effectively.
  • Oversee the timely logging and delivery of messages, packages, and mail.
  • Stay informed about current rates, packages, and promotions, as well as in-house groups and restricted dates.
  • Enforce hotel credit policies and complete necessary reports accurately.
  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among staff and across departments.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with standards for guest interactions, including phone etiquette and guest request management.
  • Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and ensure guest check-in/out processes are conducted efficiently and courteously.
  • Manage assigned house bank responsibly and perform all Guest Services Agent duties as needed.
  • Monitor key control to uphold hotel security.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Relevant college coursework is beneficial; previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license for the applicable state is required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
  • Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to evaluate situations and make quick decisions.
  • Capability to multitask and anticipate needs proactively.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to handle workplace challenges.
  • Proficiency in understanding financial information and basic arithmetic.
