Job Summary:

As a Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst III at Medicine Journal, you will play a critical role in collaborating with our Patient Access and Revenue Cycle Manager to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve system needs. This position requires a technical resource with expertise in system management, workflow analysis, and metrics-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, maintain, and monitor system applications, including clinical, revenue, and ambulatory systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on system usage and best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications and operational process flows for system enhancements or modifications.
  • Analyze and resolve system errors, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support management decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize system performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Management.
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare-related setting with knowledge of Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, and Business Systems.
  • Understanding of information system technology and database applications.
  • EPIC certification in assigned application module(s) within 120 days of completed education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EPIC certification in the module(s) being represented.
  • Experience in EMR installations.
  • 5 years of experience with MS SQL, report automation knowledge, and report writing.
