Job Summary

As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and financial clearance processes, while providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient registration and scheduling duties, ensuring accurate and complete demographic information is obtained.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, and obtain necessary authorizations for hospital services.
  • Collect and process patient payments, while maintaining compliance with financial and cash control policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate patient registration and financial clearance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • 0-1 year of customer service experience, with a background in medical facilities, health insurance, or related areas.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in PC/CRT/printer systems.
Working Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a hospital administration setting, with potential exposure to life-threatening patient conditions. You must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods, and occasionally lift/carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
