Patient Access Representative II

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduling, registration, and patient pre-admission and admission functions to support departmental efficiencies.
- Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information, ensuring compliance with financial and cash control policies and procedures.
- Employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during, and after date of service.
- Assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures, including entering data in scheduling systems and providing customers with appointment instructions.
- Verify insurance, benefits, coverage, and eligibility, and complete assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 year of customer service experience, with 0-1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
- Some college coursework is preferred.
- Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of PC/CRT/printer.
- Knowledge of function and relationships within a hospital environment preferred.
