Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an After School Group Leader. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and engaging environment for our youth, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging after-school programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our youth.
  • Build strong relationships with our members, providing guidance, support, and positive role modeling.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective program delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful program.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., education, child development, recreation) preferred.
  • Minimum 600 hours of experience working with youth in a school-age program.
  • Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
  • Ability to motivate and manage behavior in a group setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
