Job Summary

As a key member of the Chaparral Insulation Company, Inc. team, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive cost estimates for various projects. This will involve analyzing plan documents, industry standards, and other relevant data to determine time, cost, materials, and labor requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for small and large-scale projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Analyze plan documents, industry standards, and other relevant data to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including the calculation of final costs and presentation of pricing to clients.
  • Support the sales team in building customer relationships and driving business growth.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, cost estimation, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of firestop materials, listings, codes, and standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under minimal supervision.
