Assistant Project Manager

Critical Project Services is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Subcontractor Management: Support the Superintendent and Project Manager in managing subcontractors, including reviewing and approving submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
  • Quality Control: Facilitate the quality control process, including conducting site visits and reviewing project documentation.
  • BIM Process: Support the BIM process, including creating and managing BIM models and coordinating with project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering, or minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel, and basic construction management software.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Travel Requirements
  • This position requires travel commitment and on-site presence. Projects typically last several months.
