Job Overview

Compass Corporate is seeking a highly skilled Retail Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the efficient operation of retail and cafeteria services within Food & Nutrition Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage special events, cash controls, payroll, and lead hiring/training of hourly staff.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain public relations through effective resource management.
  • Guide staff in delivering retail services aligned with corporate policies and standards.
  • Train staff in customer service, portion control, cashier operations, and safety/sanitation protocols.
  • Complete reports accurately and on time, adhering to corporate policies.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, patients, and families.
  • Enforce cash handling standards to prevent theft and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Food Services Management or related field; or A.A. with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail foodservice management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost control, marketing, and presentation.
  • Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services.
  • Proficient in cash retail operations and retail marketing.
  • Leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills with strong communication abilities.
  • Familiar with financial and budget management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet-based programs.
