Position Overview:
As a Lead Software Developer within the Clinical Engineering division, your primary objective is to drive innovation and deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable software solutions. You will set a standard for excellence, encouraging a collaborative culture of continuous improvement while ensuring our products are technically sound and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with engineering and product leadership to assess, estimate, refine, and implement intricate functionalities.
  • Participate actively in the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Enhance application performance and scalability through optimization techniques.
  • Maintain exceptional code quality by incorporating best practices such as unit and integration testing, ensuring that service quality meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers within your team and across the organization, promoting skill enhancement and best practices.
  • Foster a product-centric engineering culture by collaborating closely with product management to understand the product deeply, evaluate trade-offs, and gather early feedback to inform development.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET Core and C# for developing robust, scalable applications, along with expertise in React JS for creating dynamic user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with gRPC to facilitate efficient, high-performance service communication.
  • Expertise in modern web technologies, including advanced CSS techniques.
  • Experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure early error detection and maintain high code quality standards.
  • Knowledge of SignalR and WebRTC for implementing real-time communication features and enabling peer-to-peer interactions.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and manage projects effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative development for responsive project delivery.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines without compromising code quality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA engineers, and product owners, to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills to set clear expectations.

Work Environment:
This position is remote with occasional travel for team meetings. It may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
