Position Summary
The Client Success Account Executive is tasked with engaging with clients prior to their renewal period to ensure they are well-prepared for timely renewals. This role is not only focused on achieving targets but also on enhancing customer retention and driving up/cross-sell opportunities within a defined territory. The CSAM plays a crucial role in ensuring clients derive significant business value and return on investment from their partnership with Veeam.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving revenue growth and contributing to Veeam's ongoing success by consistently meeting individual and team objectives, renewal rates, and upselling opportunities.
- Proactively reaching out to end-users from the future pipeline.
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with all internal and external departments.
- Ensuring thorough account management and maintaining accurate records in the system.
- Meeting and exceeding all performance metrics established by management.
- Providing accurate forecasting and planning for assigned accounts.
- Fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Suggesting process improvements to enhance customer success execution.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in renewals sales or sales enablement for high-tech products or services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas with a focus on innovation and execution.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, understanding, and empathy to effectively resolve conflicts and concerns.
- Adaptability to changing roles and responsibilities; self-motivated with a strong commitment to customer success.
- Experience collaborating with sales teams in software or technology sectors, particularly with complex renewal offerings.
- Proven ability to drive results and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage various activities, projects, requests, documentation, and timelines.
- Capability to communicate innovative ideas and proposals for enhancing customer success team operations.
- Ability to thrive in a semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment.
- A high-energy, motivated self-starter who inspires others to succeed, always seeking improvement opportunities.
- A genuine passion for customer success with a drive to consistently exceed expectations in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
The salary range provided is On Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base and variable compensation. Veeam considers candidates' expectations, experience, education, and role responsibilities when making employment offers.
