Job Overview

As a Receiving Specialist at Comoto, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's backroom operations. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving products into the POS system, ensuring accurate inventory management, and helping process weekly pallets. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing damaged or defective products and reporting these items to the Inventory Control Team. You will work closely with the management team to ensure an adequate level of product is in stock for customer purchase, that merchandise is properly maintained, and that it is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the store's backroom operations, including receiving products into the POS system and maintaining accurate inventory
  • Process weekly pallets and help maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Process damaged or defective products and report these items to the Inventory Control Team
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure an adequate level of product is in stock for customer purchase
  • Maintain awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements set forth by the Marketing Team

Requirements
  • Previous retail, inventory management, customer service, or sales experience
  • Ability to work a retail schedule, including occasional nights/evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong computer acumen, writing, and math ability to count and manage inventory and control cash
  • A self-starter mentality with a strong attention to detail
  • An open mind, and is eager to learn and be a part of the riding community
  • Experience with computers and POS systems (particularly RetailPro)
  • Motorcycle riding, knowledge, or interest (not a must, but a plus)
