Job Overview

Nightforce Optics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Order Clerk to join our growing Sales team. As a Sales Order Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales department by maintaining customer accounts, providing administrative support, and ensuring the highest level of detail in our sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide order entry support to our sales team through sales orders, document management, and file organization.
  • Receive, process, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for the sales department.
  • Process completed orders and work with customer service and the shipping department on the shipment and delivery of product.
  • Initiate invoices and work closely with Accounts Receivable.
  • Draft and review sales documents, including proposals and contracts.
  • Maintain records in the ERP system (Oracle).
  • Update customer accounts to ensure all information is accurate.
  • Contact Account Managers to rectify any errors on orders.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a data entry clerk, administrative assistant, or other similar position.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Software or Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Extremely motivated and a self-directed problem solver.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and data.
