As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for dry spent fuel storage and spent fuel management programs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for dry fuel storage activities, including resolution of technical issues and interface with site personnel.
  • Review and approve fabrication drawings, specs, and procedures for dry fuel storage systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of dry storage system equipment.
  • Oversee the fabrication, loading, and maintenance of dry fuel storage systems.
  • Qualify and select spent fuel for storage in dry storage systems.
  • Coordinate 10 CFR 72.48 reviews and updates for dry storage system certificates of compliance.
  • Participate in industry dry storage groups to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of dry fuel storage system design, licensing, and operation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of engineering experience, with at least 1 year of nuclear experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
