As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing nuclear power plant systems, including preparation and review of modification packages, functional mechanical drawings, and engineering analyses. You will also have the opportunity to develop engineering cost estimates, visit client sites, and lead engineering project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze nuclear power plant systems
Prepare and review modification packages, functional mechanical drawings, and engineering analyses
Develop engineering cost estimates for client-requested work scopes
Visit client sites to interface with clients and present engineering tasks and status
Lead engineering project teams
Requirements:
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the nuclear power industry
Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants
PE license is beneficial, but not required
