Job Summary:

Support Underwriters and Originators in the multi-family agency real estate industry by performing various loan processing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electronic Deal File Management: Set up and maintain electronic deal files in accordance with company policies.
  • Conference Call Coordination: Organize and participate in conference calls for all assigned transactions.
  • Due Diligence Tracking: Track and coordinate the collection of due diligence items from borrowers in accordance with guidelines.
  • Third-Party Specialist Reports: Order, track, and provide preliminary review of third-party specialist reports.
  • Credit Report Review: Order, review, and discuss credit report(s), zoning report, and flood certificate with Underwriters.
  • Pipeline Management: Work with Underwriters to keep BWE's pipeline updated with the most current information available.
  • Transaction Expense Tracking: Track all transaction expenses and provide to Closer in a timely manner.
  • Submission Materials Preparation: Assist with preparation of submission materials for each assigned transaction.
  • Communication: Communicate quickly and accurately with BWE's external partners, including customers, attorneys, title agents, and other parties as required to facilitate seamless execution.
  • Special Assignments: Perform other duties or special assignments as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in mortgage loan processing or a commensurate field preferred.
  • Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Experience: Previous Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae multi-family experience is a plus.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College Degree: College degree a plus and may be used as a substitute for previous experience with mortgage loan processing.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive PC skills including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
  • Teamwork and Time Management: Ability to operate effectively in a team environment and work independently, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication and Attention to Detail: Excellent written and verbal communication, and priority on attention to detail.
