Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of borrower credit, employment, income, and assets to ensure loan eligibility.
  • Assemble complete loan packages for underwriting, verifying all required documentation.
  • Prepare loan approval summaries, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure accuracy of all information.
  • Communicate directly with loan originators, customers, and underwriters to obtain initial and missing documentation.
  • Review loans for compliance with RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, and other mortgage regulations.
  • Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times.
  • Assist with loan setup, closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' residential mortgage processing experience.
  • Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations.
  • Excellent math and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prioritization and adherence to tight deadlines.
  • Encompass experience.
  • Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
