POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee all administrative functions related to order fulfillment, shipping of finished products, receiving raw materials into inventory, and maintaining accurate inventory records in compliance with DOT and IATA shipping regulations, while ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate picking and packing of orders, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Process and verify shipping documentation, including purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading (BOL).
- Collaborate with carriers through customer portals and provide timely updates to the Customer Relations team regarding order delivery status.
- Obtain rate quotes and select the most cost-effective shipping options based on price and delivery timelines.
- Update order lot numbers in the ERP system and send precise advanced shipping notices (ASN) to specific clients.
- Regularly update the notification board with scheduled and picked-up shipments.
- Work closely with the shipping team and Customer Relations to prioritize shipments accurately.
- Scan completed order paperwork for invoicing purposes.
- Receive incoming goods and coordinate internal transfers.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and updates in the ERP system.
- Process returns and ensure proper handling of returned inventory.
- Generate work orders for returns and facilitate their transfer to the Quality department at the production facility.
- Load and unload trucks as necessary using powered forklifts.

- Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety regulations, maintain clean and safe work areas, and report any unsafe conditions or activities.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in Shipping & Receiving or Warehouse coordination.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Familiarity with production processes.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- 3+ years of experience in Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse coordination, or administrative roles.
- Experience with ERP systems and UPS/FedEx shipping software.
- Strong professional communication skills, both on the phone and via email.
- Ability to operate all warehouse equipment, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Proven capability to work independently.
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
