POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee all administrative tasks related to order fulfillment, shipping finished products, receiving raw materials into inventory, and tracking/documenting inventory in compliance with DOT and IATA shipping regulations, while ensuring a safe working environment in line with OSHA standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure accurate picking and packing of orders, notifying the team of any discrepancies.
2. Process and verify shipping documentation, including purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading (BOL).
3. Coordinate with carriers through customer portals and provide timely updates to the Customer Relations team regarding order delivery status.
4. Source rate quotes and select the best shipping options based on cost, delivery timelines, and MicroCare's best practices.
5. Update order lot numbers in the ERP system and send precise advanced shipping notices (ASN) for specific clients.
6. Maintain the notification board with scheduled and picked-up shipments.
7. Collaborate with the shipping team and Customer Relations to prioritize shipments accurately.
8. Scan completed order documentation for invoicing purposes.
9. Receive incoming goods and manage outgoing internal transfers.
10. Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and update the ERP system.
11. Process returns and ensure proper handling of returned inventory.
12. Generate work orders for returns and coordinate their transfer to the Quality department at the production facility.
13. Load and unload trucks as necessary using powered forklifts.
14. Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe workspace while reporting any unsafe conditions or activities.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in Shipping & Receiving
- Forklift operation experience
- Familiarity with production processes
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and multitask
- Strong organizational skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must successfully fulfill each essential duty. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- 3+ years of experience in Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse Coordination, or Administrative roles
- Proficiency with ERP systems and UPS/FedEx shipping software
- Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate all warehouse equipment, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts
- Proven capability to work independently
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Proficient in computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
