Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Harry Brown's. As an Accounting Assistant/Receptionist, you will provide administrative support to our accounting department and handle various tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and reconcile cash receipts and bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process accounts receivable payments, posting payments and updating records in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with license processing and mailing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Accounting and Human Resource departments as needed, providing administrative assistance and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Back up the Accounts Payable Specialist as required, ensuring continuity of operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
