Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Trained Medication Aide to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a Trained Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents in assisted living and memory care facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
  • Monitor residents for signs of medication side effects and report any concerns to the nursing staff
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • CNA certificate and current status on the MN CNA Registry
  • 6+ months of Nursing Home or Assisted Living experience
  • Ability to pass criminal background checks
  • Ability to communicate in English in both verbal and written form
  • Charting in electronic medical records system
  • Certificate from a Trained Medication Aide course of 50-60 hours
  • 6 + months of experience as a TMA
