Job Summary

This role contributes to USP's public health mission of increasing equitable access to high-quality, safe medicine and improving global health through public standards and related programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an enterprise application strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals.
  • Provide thought leadership on industry trends, innovations, and best practices in enterprise applications.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand needs and translate them into effective IT solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of solution architects and software engineers.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity, and productivity within the team.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, including selection, implementation, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Ensure the integration and interoperability of various systems to optimize business processes.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers involved in the delivery and support of enterprise applications.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget for enterprise applications, optimizing costs while delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure all enterprise applications comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with enterprise applications, ensuring business continuity and data security.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing enterprise applications.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise applications like ERP, CRM, BPMS, BI, and other critical business applications.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex enterprise application implementation and modernization projects.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, integration, and data management.
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Result-driven with demonstrated success in developing and delivering IT solutions on enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Experience in life science, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
