POSITION SUMMARY

Facilitate room assignments based on guest preferences and requests whenever feasible. Prepare key packets for pre-registered guests and organize check-in procedures for incoming groups. Monitor and accommodate requests for room changes or check-outs as possible, ensuring effective communication with relevant staff. Confirm reservations and cancellations, while reviewing out-of-order rooms on a daily basis. Ensure pricing aligns with market codes and document any exceptions. Verify guest billing and maintain accurate records of guest documentation. Manage all aspects of guest check-ins and check-outs, including activating room keys and securing valid payments. Identify potential over-commitments and perform checks for duplicate reservations; block rooms as necessary. Generate daily reports and follow up with guests to ensure their needs have been met satisfactorily. Accurately receive, record, and relay messages.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional appearance; safeguard proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express genuine appreciation to guests. Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents thoroughly; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate tasks. Serve as a role model within the department. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues; support team efforts to achieve common objectives. Comply with quality assurance standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Utilize computers and/or POS systems to enter and locate information. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Less than 1-year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
