Job Summary
As a Sales Associate - Footwear Specialist at Rack Room Shoes, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, meeting sales and work goals, and maintaining a well-organized store. You will lead by example, demonstrating accuracy and completeness in your work, and contribute to presenting the store, its merchandise, and yourselves to customers in the best possible light.

Key Responsibilities
• Create an excellent shopping experience for our customers through awareness and company service standards, showcasing a positive attitude, willingness to serve, and in-depth knowledge of our products.
• Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions, ensuring customers are informed of the latest deals and discounts.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, ensuring stock is well-arranged and merchandised properly, and the store's overall cleanliness and organization are maintained.
• Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills to assist customers in finding the perfect shoes.
• Maintain an awareness of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff members, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Working Relationships
• Collaborate with Customers, Sales Associates, Store Management, and District/Regional Managers to achieve sales and work goals, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with external contacts (primarily customers) and with all levels of employees.
• Basic communication (both verbal and non-verbal), organization, and math skills are essential for this role.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear, is preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of the policies and procedures, as well as basic visual merchandising skills, are necessary for this position.

Working Conditions
• The position is located at Rack Room Shoes 189, 4677 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, Florida US.
• The estimated salary for this role is between $13.00 and $14.00 per hour, depending on experience and performance.
