Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes for hotel guests.
- Handle all payment transactions in accordance with established protocols.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Register guests, issue room keys, and provide detailed information about hotel amenities and room locations.
- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Maximize hotel revenue by effectively upselling rooms.
- Process credit card transactions accurately, adhering to established guidelines.
- Communicate any guest requests or issues to management for further action.
- Address guest complaints with appropriate responses.
- Direct guest inquiries to the relevant departments or service applications.
- Implement service recovery strategies to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Assist in booking reservations for guests, whether requested via phone or in-person.
- Manage cancellations, modifications, and updates regarding reservations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Record and notify guests of incoming packages and mail.
- Act as an Ambassador for the Meli Rewards loyalty program, facilitating sign-ups, benefits, and point redemption.
- Maintain awareness of your work schedule and adhere to it reliably.
- Exhibit teamwork skills consistently.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Utilize protective equipment as necessary.
- Promote the hotel through positive interactions and a courteous demeanor.
- Commit to continuous learning and professional development.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and grooming standards diligently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Front Desk or Guest Services at a hotel or resort is preferred.
- A flexible schedule is essential; availability for various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to comprehend and address guests' service needs effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain focus while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
