LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Contracted Program Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our programs.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and ensure compliance with government regulations and guidelines, including the DoD Manual Volumes 1-4, NISPOM, and Intelligence Community Directives.
- Provide security guidance and support to program operations, including the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Conduct self-inspections and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Participate in government inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage program administrative tasks, including personnel processing, visitor control, and conducting program-related investigations.
- Maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management across multiple program sites and business units.
- Assist in presentation preparation for program status and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government and company regulations.
- Manage special access program facility administration, including submitting preconstruction and accreditation packages.
- US Citizenship
- Existing TOP SECRET Clearance with an SSBI within the last 5 years
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, writing skills, and professional image
- Refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and follow-through when completing tasks
- Ability to plan, schedule, and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives
- Ability to develop and implement solutions to a variety of complex problems
- Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Willingness to work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional image
- Ability to obtain and maintain all access as required by the programs
- Prior COMSEC experience and/or training
- Prior CPSO experience
- Experience in the Special Program Environments and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and relevant DoD Volumes
- Security-related certification and training courses
- Experience with SIMS and JPAS databases
- Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience preferred.
