Job Title: Contracted Program Security Officer

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Contracted Program Security Officer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Contracted Program Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the security of our programs and operations. This includes implementing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect sensitive information and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect sensitive information and assets.
  • Conduct self-inspections and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Participate in government inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and implement security education, training, and awareness programs for employees.
  • Manage special access program facility administration, including submitting preconstruction and accreditation packages.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with security regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship
  • Existing TOP SECRET Clearance with an SSBI within the last 5 years
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, writing skills, and professional image
  • Refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and follow-through when completing tasks
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions to complex problems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Special Program Environments and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and relevant DoD Volumes
  • Security related certification and training courses
  • Experience with SIMS and JPAS databases
  • Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)
Education:

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience preferred.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
