Contracted Program Security Specialist

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Contracted Program Security Officer to join our team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our programs, providing guidance on security operations, and developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and ensure compliance with DoD Manual Volumes 1-4, NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
- Provide security guidance on program operations and develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program.
- Create, update, and administer security education, training, and awareness programs, including program indoctrinations and debriefings.
- Conduct self-inspections and recommend corrective actions, participate in Government Inspections, and implement corrective actions.
- Perform program administrative work, including personnel processing, visitor control, conducting program-related investigations, TS Accountability, dispatching and receiving program documents/material, and resolving other related program security issues.
- Maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management across multiple program sites and business units.
- Assist in presentation preparation for program status and reviews (internal and external) and ensure compliance with applicable government and company regulations.
- Manage special access program facility administration, in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, related to the physical security and construction requirements for SAPFs and SCIFs.
- US Citizenship
- Existing TOP SECRET Clearance with an SSBI within the last 5 years
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, writing skills, and professional image
- Refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts
- Ability to multi-task, self-start with minimal supervision, and display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional image
- Ability to obtain and maintain all access as required by the programs
- Prior COMSEC experience and/or training and prior CPSO experience
- Experience in the Special Program Environments and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and relevant DoD Volumes
- Security-related certification and training courses
- Experience with SIMS and JPAS databases
- Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience preferred
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
