Contracted Program Security Officer

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Contracted Program Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our programs and operations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program.
• Provide security guidance and support to program operations, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans.
• Conduct self-inspections and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with government and company regulations.
• Participate in Government Inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Program Administrative Work:
• Manage personnel processing, visitor control, and program-related investigations.
• Maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management across multiple program sites and business units.
• Assist in presentation preparation for program status and reviews (internal and external).
Requirements:
• US Citizenship
• Existing TOP SECRET Clearance with an SSBI within the last 5 years
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, writing skills, and professional image
• Refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the Special Program Environments and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and relevant DoD Volumes
• Security related certification and training courses
• Experience with SIMS and JPAS databases
• Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)
Education:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience preferred
Special Requirement:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
