The Patient Access Representative is a vital member of our team at Med-Metrix, responsible for ensuring seamless patient access to our healthcare services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients accurately and efficiently, obtaining necessary information and documentation.
- Manage patient flow, addressing concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; minimum 1 year customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
