Job Overview

The Junior Accountant will perform key tasks in the accounting department, including accounts payable, billing, and receivables. This role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into accounting software and systems.
  • Assist with coding invoices, setting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and closing the monthly books.
  • Review billing statements and invoices for accuracy, ensuring timely payment and alerting supervisory staff to discrepancies.
  • Gather payroll expenses and input them into the accounting system.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
