Job Overview

Path Construction is expanding and is in search of a skilled Project Administrator to become a vital part of our team. We are a commercial general contracting firm with a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to Project Executives, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
  • May be involved in Field Operations, Engineering, Estimating, or Project Controls.
  • Assist in coordinating on-site construction and engineering activities.
  • Interpret design documents, specifications, submittals, and other relevant construction materials.
  • Support Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators with technical and logistical project functions, including subcontractor and supplier management.
  • Collaborate with on-site departments to resolve issues and ensure quality construction in alignment with project timelines.

Daily Tasks May Include:

  • Preparing and sending documents to clients.
  • Distributing work orders to subcontractors.
  • Creating essential documents such as Contracts, Change Orders, Work Authorizations, and Certificates of Completion.
  • Reviewing pay applications and compliance documentation.
  • Entering and tracking new lead information in databases.
  • Updating job status and assisting with incoming calls.
  • Organizing calendar details for Superintendents or Project Managers.
  • Participating in daily meetings and ensuring all project closeout documents are collected.

Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Professional interaction with managers and colleagues is essential.
  • Enrollment in an engineering or construction-related degree program at an accredited institution is preferred; background in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Prior construction experience is advantageous.
  • An Associate Degree or higher is beneficial.
