E-commerce Operations and Logistics Manager

Eataly North America is seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Operations and Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our e-commerce business across DTC, B2B, and marketplace channels. This role will be responsible for managing order fulfillment, inventory management, supplier relationships, process improvements, and cost control to ensure efficient and scalable logistics that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment Management: Oversee the complete order fulfillment process for DTC, B2B, and marketplace channels, ensuring timely, accurate delivery and seamless customer experience.
  • Inventory and Demand Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts and overstock, and collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, dropship partners, and third-party logistics providers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Cost Control and Packaging Optimization: Monitor and control operational costs, including shipping, warehousing, and packaging, and implement strategies to minimize expenses while protecting products during transit.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Continuously analyze and improve operational processes, implement automation tools to streamline order processing, and reduce manual errors.
  • Technology Integration and Systems Management: Oversee the integration of logistics and order management systems with e-commerce platforms, ensuring efficient, automated, and centralized order processing across all sales channels.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, generate reports on logistics performance, and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, manage Amazon-specific requirements, and mitigate risks within logistics operations, including supply chain disruptions.
  • Scalability and Capacity Planning: Develop scalable logistics solutions to support business growth, plan warehouse capacity for peak periods, and expand operations to new markets or increased order volumes.
  • Customer Experience and Collaboration: Work with customer service and marketing teams to resolve operational issues, align logistics with promotional activities, and enhance the overall customer experience across all channels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in e-commerce operations and logistics
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple e-commerce channels
  • Experience forecasting inventory needs
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with databases, automation, or business intelligence preferred
