Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold a standard of high professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, customer interaction, and work environment.
  • Create an atmosphere where residents perceive value in our services, leading to high retention rates and increased rental income.
  • Welcome all residents, prospective tenants, and visitors with a friendly smile, positive attitude, and professional demeanor.
  • Continuously monitor surveillance systems and utilize necessary software to assist residents throughout the shift.
  • Effectively address the needs of current and prospective residents in person, over the phone, or via email, including but not limited to leasing information, community details, neighborhood insights, service requests, and other inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby area throughout the shift, ensuring a clutter-free workspace.
  • Regularly stock and clean coffee stations to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Grant access to apartments for residents and authorized visitors, ensuring proper permissions are verified.
  • Manage the checkout of keys while retaining identification from housekeepers or visitors as necessary, ensuring keys are returned appropriately.
  • Remain aware that the Guest Services Coordinator position is the most frequented area in the community; therefore, it is essential to stand and greet residents and guests with enthusiasm and a readiness to assist.
  • Check in and, when required, deliver packages and dry cleaning to residents.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Demonstrate the ability to de-escalate and address customer concerns effectively.
  • Learn and comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Ensure unsafe conditions are addressed promptly.
  • Available to work second shifts and weekends as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Ability to obtain Fair Housing Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Successful completion of a drug test.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as community management software.
