Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Morning Bistro Attendant to join our team at Arbor Lodging Management. As a Morning Bistro Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience in our bistro.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to scheduling requirements.
  • Review meeting room demand and needs for the day.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and areas within the bistro.
  • Ensure display coolers are fully stocked and trash cans are empty and clean.
  • Perform closing shift duties and restock areas as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Comply with Arbor Lodging Management standards and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, including food and beverage requirements.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
  • Ensure the bistro is stocked with all necessary items for AM service.
  • Accommodate special requests and offer alternatives when necessary.
  • Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S. system.
  • Greet guests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure quality control of menus and cleanliness.
  • Answer the telephone according to standards.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials.
  • Carry out cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
