  • Complete all closing shift responsibilities effectively.
  • Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth service.
  • Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
  • Adhere to Arbor Lodging standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Provide food and beverage service to guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as required.
  • Ensure the Bistro is well-stocked for morning service.
  • Accommodate special requests from guests or suggest suitable alternatives.
  • Familiarize yourself with the operation of the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system.
  • Greet guests promptly and ensure menus are clean and appealing.
  • Answer telephone inquiries according to established standards.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of service standards and menu offerings.
  • Handle cashiering duties and complete end-of-shift paperwork accurately.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures along with side work duties.
  • Exhibit attentiveness, friendliness, and courtesy towards guests and colleagues at all times.
  • Participate in meetings as directed by management.
  • Execute any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in hospitality or a related field preferred. Strong communication skills, the ability to make quick decisions, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure are essential. Candidates should be adept at understanding financial information and basic arithmetic, maintaining composure in challenging situations, and willing to work weekends and holidays.
