Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process service requests, dispatching technicians as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of daily timecards and assist in payroll preparation.
- Monitor technician clocking to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage the lifecycle of work orders for assigned technicians.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks to achieve optimal performance.
- Track and manage fleet and warranty service claims for assigned technicians.
- Prepare detailed service quotes for clients and monitor their completion rates.
- Assist in managing work in progress (WIP) for assigned technicians.
- Review technician documentation and timecards weekly, as required.
- Maintain WIP reports to ensure efficiency and timely service delivery.
- Oversee accurate billing and profitability within the service department.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles is advantageous.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and interruptions.
- Consistent and punctual attendance is essential.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are expected.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position requiring approximately forty hours of work per week, with the possibility of overtime as needed.
