Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Sterling Restaurants. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our restaurant, including managing daily operations, leading a team of employees, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
    • Ensure that all restaurant systems and procedures are followed, including food safety and sanitation protocols.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.
    • Recruit, train, and develop employees to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including prompt and friendly service, accurate orders, and a clean and welcoming dining environment.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage the restaurant's budget, including controlling labor costs, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotion strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Community Involvement:
    • Develop and implement community outreach and engagement strategies to build relationships with local businesses and organizations.
    • Participate in local events and sponsorships to promote the restaurant and build brand awareness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, and experience with restaurant management software and systems.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certification, ServSafe Certification, and Moe's Manager Certification.
