Job Title: Sr. Sales Director

ActiveProspect is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Sales Director to lead our growth in the Higher Education vertical. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our footprint in this category through strategic sales, partnerships, marketing, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Higher Education vertical.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in the industry, including lead buyers, lead sellers, and service providers.
  • Conduct industry research to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Attend industry trade shows and select events to promote our company and technology.
  • Work closely with the client success team to ensure all new customers are properly onboarded and retained.
  • Represent ActiveProspect as a spokesperson at industry events and conferences.

Requirements:

  • 2-10 years of complex enterprise SaaS Education Tech and/or lead generation space selling experience.
  • Ability to take a vertical from having customers to growing it into a key market for the organization.
  • Consistent achievement of enterprise sales quota.
  • Experience managing enterprise sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong ability to communicate value propositioning for complex enterprise SaaS technology.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team growing rapidly.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and an insatiable can-do mentality.
