Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate EmPATH Nurse to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a key member of our crisis intervention team, you will provide high-quality medical care and support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with crisis interventions and medical emergencies, obtaining vital signs and administering medications as needed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support services.
  • Administer scheduled, routine, and PRN medications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Document all client interactions and care provided in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • RN or LPN with current Tennessee license and experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
  • BSN or ANA certification as Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of psychiatric medications, diagnoses, treatment modalities, and interventions.
  • Experience working with special populations, including individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness and Co-Occurring Disorders.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy and flexibility. You will be working closely with our crisis intervention team to provide emergency services to individuals in need.
